Please take time to read through the application form and be as honest as you can when answering the questions - there are no right or wrong answers. Please give as much information as possible as it will help us to match you with the right dog for your circumstances.

Please note that we DO NOT re-home Bull Terriers to couples expecting children/with small children/or with regular visiting small children.

We also DO NOT re-home Bull Terriers to households with cats. Any applications received with cats listed as existing pets will NOT be progressed further. If you choose to not disclose this information then you do so at your own risk.

We do not re-home our dogs to anywhere outside of England, Scotland or Wales.

Applications are looked at by the coordinators' and the next step is for a home-check to be arranged. We are volunteers so it may take a little time for us to come back to you but please don’t hesitate to email us if you haven’t heard back from us after a reasonable length of time.

All resident family members need to be present at the home check.

Once you have been home checked you will then be added to our waiting list. Please note that even if you have applied for a particular dog, we may not feel they are necessarily the best match for you/your circumstances or the Bull Terrier may already have been offered a home/have an adoption pending.

Many of the Bull Terriers that come into this rescue don’t make it onto the website and are matched up directly with an applicants already on our waiting list.

Any re-homing is subject to you passing a home check. We may also wish to obtain a reference from your vet and see confirmation of permission allowing you to have a dog if you are living in a rented property.

Please note we are an independent charity and are entirely funded by donations and the efforts raised by our wonderful volunteers.
